Can I walk instead of run?
Yes! Even though this is a timed event, we welcome all runners and walkers! However, if you are planning to walk we do ask that you start toward the back.
Can I sign up the day of?
Possibly, but the event may sell out! So please watch the website and Facebook page for updates.
Can I run with a stroller?
Sure! We just ask that you start toward the back so as not to impede the other runners.
Are headphones allowed?
Yes. Please be mindful of those around you and be able to hear any emergency announcements.
Can I run with my dog?
Yes, but dogs are only allowed on the 5K course, not on the Beer Mile course or .05K course. We do ask that you please be mindful of those around you so you do not impede other participants.
Can I just come for the party?
Absolutely! Hop Haus Brewing Company will be selling beer, music will be playing, and there will be plenty of backyard games and fun. It'll be a great time!
Can I supply my own beer for the beer mile?
No, beer will be provided by Hop Haus Beer Run. You can find the official Beer Mile rules here. Additionally, no beer is allowed outside of transition or on the course at any time.
Are kids welcome?
Yes! Kids are welcome for the 5K course only. If they want a shirt, bib and medal they will need to be registered for the event though.
I have a gluten intolerance, but I want to run the Beer Mile.
Yes, you can still run the Beer Mile! If you have a gluten intolerance, a gluten-free beer (5% ABV or higher) or cider (5% ABV or higher) may be used. You must bring your own and contact the race at raceday@racedayevents.com to make us aware.
What is your refund policy?
This race does not offer refunds or deferrals. If you are registered for the event, you agreed to the no refund and no deferral policy prior to submitting your online registration. This includes those who experience illness, injury or any other condition that may prevent them from participating in the event.
